“I’m in Awe of What’s Been Given to Me”
Les Prieskorn is a retired English teacher who lives half of the year in Fort Myers, Florida, and the other half in Brighton, Michigan. When his optometrist in Michigan told him it was time for cataract surgery, Les made plans to have the surgery there.

From marveling at his ability to see the design on the flags at the front of the condominium community where he lives with his wife Kathy to the brick on the buildings across the street, the tile on the rooflines, golfers playing 400 yards away and even every line in his newspaper with ease—all without glasses—is a wonder Les hasn’t yet gotten used to.
