But maybe you are reluctant to consider surgery as a solution? Great news! We can help.
The medical term for eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty corrects the drooping or sagging skin of the upper and/or lower eyelids. The procedure can eliminate lower lid puffiness, remove excess skin and fat and create a more youthful, rested appearance. It’s a fantastic procedure, and our own Dr. Jason Friedrichs has tremendous experience in performing this delicate surgery.
But we have many patients who have concerns about their puffy, baggy lower lids but are not ready to commit to surgery. We’re so excited to let you know about a new technology that allows us to perform blepharoplasty without surgery![/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”30″][/vc_column][/mk_page_section][vc_row][vc_column][mk_ornamental_title font_family=”none” font_size=”30″ ornament_style=”lemo-single” nss_align=”center” ornament_color=”#74b8c6″]Morpheus8 for Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty[/mk_ornamental_title][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679345142715{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Lower lid blepharoplasty is traditionally a surgical procedure. But in keeping with our commitment to offer the latest proven techniques and technologies for improved patient outcomes, Collins Vision is one of the few practices in Southwest Florida with the incredible technology to perform lower lid blepharoplasty non-surgically (in most cases).
“Using radiofrequency and laser capabilities, we are able to perform a lower blepharoplasty – a procedure that previously was only possible with surgery. This is a breakthrough innovation and will allow for patients to achieve the more youthful, rested look they desire but with a much faster recovery.”

Who Is A Good Candidate For Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty?
[/mk_ornamental_title][mk_padding_divider size=”30″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679345214894{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]The more birthdays we have celebrated, the more the skin and muscles of the eyelid can begin to sag and droop. As well, the fat that surrounds and cushions the eyeball can bulge forward through the skin of the lower lid.
If you can relate to any of the following, a Non-Surgical Lower Lid Blepharoplasty might be right for you:
- Tired-looking eyes
- Bulges, bags or puffiness under the lower lid
- Saggy skin beneath the eye

What About My Upper Eyelids?
[/mk_ornamental_title][mk_padding_divider size=”30″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679345037767{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]For some people, the concern is more about their upper eyelids feeling heavy or droopy. At Collins Vision, we offer two different types of eyelid surgery, upper and lower, addressing both functional and aesthetic concerns.
Functional Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty is designed to address upper eyelid droopiness that is significant enough to interfere with vision and daily tasks like reading and driving. It works by removing excess skin and fat hanging over the normal lid crease. An upper blepharoplasty cannot be performed non-surgically, but is often covered by insurance if the drooping is significant enough to impede vision.
