A brow lift is a procedure in which the skin of the forehead and eyebrow are tightened to reduce the appearance of frown lines in between the brows or in some cases to raise the eyebrows.  Oftentimes, patients will choose to have a brow lift in conjunction with eyelid lifts or tucks in order to achieve a more rested and youthful appearance with smoother skin in the eyelid and brow area.  The combination of these procedures will also reduce downtime related to surgery.  Many patients are reluctant to consider brow lift surgery due to fear of what may be considered a “surprised or unnatural look.”  However, Dr. Friedrichs’ specialized training, experience and personal approach will ensure that you receive your desired level of cosmetic correction of the lid and brows areas with a natural appearance.
