We have fully reopened (both locations!), and we have resumed seeing patients for all services while adhering to all the guidelines set forth by local, state and federal governments as well as CDC recommendations. For our patients who aren’t quite ready to venture back out or just prefer the convenience of having a consultation from the comfort of their own home, we are happy to offer virtual appointments and initial consultations. Details on our reopening safety protocols here.

Southwest Florida is strong. We are resilient and hopeful. And at Collins Vision, we want to do everything we can to help our communities find their footing and begin to recover.

—Dr. Collins

If you’ve been our patient for any length of time, you know we’ve always enjoyed a strong alliance with United Way. From providing gifts and meals around the holidays to donating cataract surgeries to needy individuals, our partnership with United Way is an important part of our overall commitment to giving back to the communities we are honored to serve.

During this COVID-19 recovery season, we are leveraging this long term relationship to help Southwest Floridians in need of some additional support.

Through September, a percentage of every LASIK or Refractive Cataract Surgery performed at Collins Vision will be donated to the United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties to help those most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Collins and the whole Collins Vision team have been great partners with United Way. We are so appreciative of the tremendous generosity this program will offer, especially now when our community is struggling.

—Jeannine Joy, President and CEO of United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties

At Collins Vision, we always tell our patients that we can’t wait for them to See the Difference. With this United Way partnership, our patients have the opportunity to help us Be the Difference our community needs at this time. We’re so excited about this partnership!
